STRONGSVILLE, Ohio (WJW) -- Cleveland Browns DE Myles Garrett was reportedly stopped for excessive speeding over the weekend.
The incident took place just after 2 a.m. on Saturday, according to public records obtained by NewsNation local affiliate WJW, not long after the Browns had returned from their winning preseason game in Charlotte.
According to the report, Garrett was driving a Ferrari on I-71 South in Strongsville when he was pulled over by police.
At the time, the Browns star was marked as going 100 in a zone designated as 60 miles-per-hour.
Rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders was also pulled over on I-71 in Strongsville back in June for speeding.
Garrett is scheduled for a court appearance Thursday. FOX 8 has reached out to the Browns for a statement.
