The man who attacked the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention headquarters in Atlanta during last Friday’s deadly shooting fired 180 shots, officials said Monday.

Patrick White, 30, was found dead in a pharmacy after the shooting that claimed the life of DeKalb County police officer David Rose. No one at the CDC was injured. Authorities haven’t said whether White shot himself or if he was hit by responding officers’ fire.

Some of the bullets pierced “blast-resistant” windows and it may take weeks or even months to replace windows and clean up the damage, CDC personnel said. A total of four agency buildings were damaged.

Health Secretary and vaccine skeptic Robert F. Kennedy Jr. toured the site Monday but did not address the media. He also met privately with Rose’s widow.
