GREENVILLE, S.C. —

United States Sen. Lindsey Graham held a roundtable discussion with several Upstate law enforcement agencies to discuss the status of officer recruitment and immigration reform.

Originally scheduled to discuss the 287(g) program and immigration law, Graham said he left with a list of issues affecting around a dozen Upstate agencies, which he said he was unaware of. Graham promised to take the concerns he heard on Monday to the offices of Gov. Henry McMaster and President Donald Trump.

This includes a growing concern for hiring and keeping qualified law enforcement officers.
