The Colorado Springs Police Department arrested Brandon Hugney for arson after he allegedly started a fire behind a building in the area of Wooten Road and Geiger Boulevard, according a release from the department.

Sunday marked the third time this year the Colorado Springs man was arrested for arson by CSPD. According to previous reporting by The Gazette , Hugney, 21, was arrested in February and July for starting multiple fires in dumpsters, grass fields and a vehicle.

According to police, Hugney has six separate cases for arson.
