Recent Air Force graduate Patrick Hoopes added another title to his growing collection this weekend.
Hoopes won the pommel horse at the Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics championship on Saturday night in New Orleans. This came months after he won the NCAA gymnastics crown in the same event.
After his victory, Hoopes was named to the Team USA for the upcoming World Gymnastics Championships in Jakarta in October.
Stephen Nedoroscik, known as “Pommel Horse Guy” after going viral while winning a pair of bronze medals in last summer’s Olympic Games, finished fifth.
