President Eisenhower with able appointees and advisors was a hardworking, humble, and serious man. They worked at solving problems here and abroad. His many accomplishments as President began with statements and attitudes that shaped his policy. When he spoke, he always had a purpose and goal in mind. He delivered on his goals with clarity and steady, selfless dedication and common sense. Two of those policies were ending crop surpluses and satisfying the need for better highways. When speaking of them, he offered a vision and followed up with determined action. His belief in unity and teamwork led him to promote them in public service announcements. These he followed up with convincing American government and business to practice unity and teamwork.
