D'Angelo Ponds and Rolijah Hardy recovered from injuries and Amare Ferrell returned from a personal matter Monday, Curt Cignetti said.
BLOOMINGTON — Indiana football coach Curt Cignetti put an asterisk next to the success the offense had during the second week of fall camp.
Cignetti detailed a list of defensive starters who were sidelined with injuries throughout the week when he spoke to reporters Monday afternoon. The Hoosiers were forced to move players around out of position to make up for those absences during Saturday's scrimmage.
"The defense was really short-handed," Cignetti said. " (Rolijah) Hardy returned to practice today, but had a groin missed most of last week. Amare Ferrell had a personal matter; his mother passed away and was gone most of the week, he's back
