DETROIT, MI — The Detroit City Football Club’s future home now has a name.
Set to open at the corner of Michigan Avenue and 20th Street for the 2027 USL Championship season, the stadium will be known as AlumniFi Field , the club and partnering financial institution announced on Monday, Aug. 11.
Pending public approvals, construction on AlumniFi Field is scheduled to begin in the Corktown neighborhood in late 2025, the club announced.
The new stadium will seat 15,000. DCFC currently plays its games at Keyworth Stadium in Hamtramck, which seats just shy of 8,000.
The club has played in the enclave of Hamtramck since 2016, last playing regular home games within the city limits in 2015 at Cass Tech.
