NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A new lawsuit has been filed against Williamson County Schools. The lawsuit alleges a biological boy who identifies as a girl was allowed to participate in a girls-only sex education class for seventh graders.

At Legacy Middle School during the last month of the school year, a biological boy who identifies as a girl was allowed to participate in an all-girls sex education class, according to a new lawsuit.

“I think it just crosses a boundary,” parent Karen Rice said. “That is incorrect.”

The lawsuit said that the Family Life program was a required two-day course held in May of the last school year. On the first day, the biological boy who identifies as a girl was allowed in the all-girls class. The lawsuit said this made students “uncomfortable with the presenc
