Lauren Sánchez Bezos ' son Evan is all grown up.

The former Good Day L.A. anchor sent her 18-year-old off to college on Aug. 11, sharing a photo of the teen setting up his dorm room.

"Eighteen years of early mornings, late night snacks and family dinners ... and then there he was building his own dorm cabinet," Lauren—who shares Evan and daughter Ella , 17, with ex-husband Patrick Whitesell —wrote on her Instagram Story. "A small thing but in that moment I saw the start of his next chapter."

She added, "Proud, heartbroken, grateful."

The bittersweet milestone comes nearly two months after Lauren's wedding to Jeff Bezos , where she was accompanied by Evan and Nikko Gonzalez —her 24-year-old son with ex Tony Gonzalez —down the aisle.
