Ashley McBryde has been forced to cancel her upcoming shows this week due to vocal issues.

The GRAMMY-winning country star took to social media on Monday afternoon (Aug. 11) to share the news with her fans.

“My voice has been struggling over the past few weeks, and as much as it pains me, I won’t be able to play my shows this week,” McBryde wrote on her Instagram Stories .

The ACM-award winner continued, “My doctors have made it crystal clear: my voice needs complete rest to heal.”

She also apologized to her fans and assured them she would be back on stage soon.

“ There’s nothing I want more than to be back giving you 100%. Thank you for understanding. I’ll see you soon,” McBryde added.
