It was a doubly exciting first day of school at Ellwood Christian Academy at Meadowview in Selma.

That’s because ECA also transitioned to its new home on Old Orrville Road.

As Action 8 News has reported , ECA acquired the Meadowview Christian School campus after it closed at the end of the last school year.

Preparations have been going on since then. The school now includes students and staff from both schools.

They say the first week will focus on student orientation so that students know what’s expected of them during the school year.

School officials say merger marks a new chapter in the history of both schools.
