GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — An Ohio man became $150,000 richer after winning the Michigan Lottery.

On July 22, 68-year-old Donovan Reynolds of Ohio made his way to Michigan and decided to buy a Powerball ticket at Big Daddy’s Truck Stop on Saint Anthony Road in Ottawa Lake, about 40 miles south of Ann Arbor.

“I typically play Powerball in Ohio, but I was in Michigan for the day golfing, so I bought my ticket while I was here,” Reynolds told the Michigan Lottery.

He was in luck. The numbers, 02-18-19-25-35 with powerball 25 — digits Reynolds says he’s been playing for a while — matched.

“I checked the winning numbers the next day and froze when I saw I matched four white balls and the Powerball. I was stunned!” Reynolds said.

He plans to put the winnings in his daughter’s college fund
