GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Through balloons, candles and prayer, friends and family remembered the life of 38-year-old Randy Campbell, who was shot and killed in Grand Rapids Sunday night.

Grand Rapids police say at 7:10 p.m. Sunday, officers were sent to Logan Street and Diamond Avenue SE for a report of a shooting. Officers found Campbell with at least one gunshot wound lying on the sidewalk in front of a house on Diamond Avenue. First responders tried to help Campbell but he died at the scene, according to GRPD Chief Eric Winstrom.
