HOOVER, Ala. ( WBRC ) - After the calculations were made, it looks like the 2025 SEC Baseball Tournament was a financial homerun for the city of Hoover.

City leaders said the tournament brought in more than $17 million. They said that’s the largest amount they’ve seen in the past three years.

The Greater Birmingham Convention and Visitor’s Bureau released those numbers.

The money includes revenue from lodging, transportation, food and beverage, retail, recreation, space rentals, and business services.

The six-day tournament drew nearly 160,000 fans.
