WELD COUNTY (KKTV) - A Texas murder suspect was arrested in Colorado on Monday morning, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.
The U.S. Marshals Service said the El Paso County (TX) Sheriff’s Office responded to a shots-fired/aggravated assault call in Fabens, Texas, where they found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds on March 20. Officials say the victim, identified as 26-year-old Aaron Villa, died at a hospital.
Investigators with the sheriff’s office in Texas as well as the Texas Rangers, identified 23-year-old Angel Lozano as a suspect, and officials say a warrant was issued for his arrest on July 24.
Officials say assistance was requested from the U.S. Marshals Service’s Lone Star Fugitive Task Force to help arrest Lozano. Investigators then learned that Lozano had fled
