Honolulu police seized 26 digital gambling machines and $7,547 in cash during a search of an illegal game room operating on Queen Street.
On Aug. 7 at about 3 p.m., Narcotic Vice Division officers discovered the gambling machines and cash. No arrests were made.
The search and seizures shuttered the fourth illegal gambling operation since July 8.
On July 28, HPD’s Narcotics/Vice Division, Crime Reduction Unit officers and the Specialized Services Division, executed search warrants at two separate illegal game rooms in late July.
Officers took 20 gambling machines, $3,615 in cash and illegal drugs. A man, 29, was arrested on suspicion of promoting gambling in the second degree and possession of a gambling device.
