Construction and renovations at Glen Cove and W.E. Cundiff elementary schools in Roanoke County are expected to be completed around this time next year, officials say. The two projects, paired with the construction of the new Roanoke County Career and Technology Center, have a $130 million price tag, representing the largest capital investment in the county’s history. The CTE center is expected to be completed in either late 2026 or early 2027. It will replace the current Burton Center for Arts and Technology located in Salem.
