Heading into the 2025 NFL season, the New York Giants won't have Daniel Jones starting under center for the first time since 2020. These days, Russell Wilson will be in that seat, until the organization deems Jaxson Dart ready.

As for Jones, he's in the AFC, fighting for the top spot on the Indianapolis Colts' depth chart. Currently, the former Giant is battling with Anthony Richardson.

A recent quarterback rankings list helped Jones' case to win the Colts' starting role. The Athletic polled six GMs, six assistant GMs, six former GMs, five other anonymous NFL executives, eight head coaches, and 19 other coaches, totaling 50 voters in a position of power across the league.

The results didn't turn out great for the Colts as a team, but Jones' case got a little stronger.
