LIVINGSTON PARISH, La. (WAFB) - A woman was rearrested just two hours after being released from jail in Livingston Parish, deputies said.
According to the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office, Lisa Cleaver, 42, allegedly stole a parish DPW vehicle following her release from behind bars.
Deputies said they discovered the DPW vehicle had been stolen after getting a report about a suspicious female walking in the middle of Highway 63. They added that Cleaver was seen getting out of the DPW vehicle before asking for a ride.
According to LPSO, Cleaver was picked up by someone and was eventually located by law enforcement officers at a grocery store. Deputies said they also discovered the suspect’s discharge paperwork inside of the stolen truck.
Cleaver was rearrested on charges of theft of a
