CORAL GABLES — Mo Toure was not sure if he had any more football left in him.
Toure had been at Rutgers for five years, starting in 2019. So when he suffered his second ACL tear in the same knee before the 2024 season, he considered ending his career.
“I almost hung my cleats up, if I’m being honest,” Toure said at Miami’s media day on July 30. “I just felt like I was having bad luck. Like, damn, why me? Is God trying to tell me that this isn’t for me?”
