OCALA, Fla. (WCJB) - Leaders with the Early Learning Coalition of Marion County are once again searching for a permanent CEO.

Latrisha Sims will take over temporarily for Carrie Theall, who served in the role for about two and a half years.

Officials say Sims has worked with the coalition for more than two decades, serving as the COO for the past six years.

Theall was named CEO in 2023.

TV20 reached out to the organization about why Theall was leaving, but has not heard back.
