LAKE MILLS, Iowa — A man accused of sexual exploitation of a minor is no longer employed by the Lake Mills Community School District.
Superintendent Chris Rogne issued the following statement Monday:
"On Monday, August 11, the Lake Mills Community School Board of Education formally accepted the resignation of Skyler Ahrens . Mr. Ahrens was recently arrested and charged with sexual exploitation of a minor.
"Because this is a personnel matter and there is an ongoing police investigation, we cannot share further details at this time. However, police do not believe that any of the alleged criminal activity involved Lake Mills students.
