PAPILLION, Neb. —
Some Sarpy County students with disabilities now have a dedicated space to focus on learning life skills.
A 2023 bond vote allowed the Papillion La Vista Community School District to construct a new building for the Young Adult Transition Program.
Two days before school starts, families of Papillion La Vista Community Schools' Young Adult Transition Program got the chance to check out their new building.
"It's super exciting for us. And I know all the families, and we're just so grateful to the community for getting this done. This is going to be a great space," said parent Andrew Herd.
It's an upgrade from their last shared space with Liberty Middle School.
