SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - The South Bend Common Council was slated to vote on Monday on a proposal to increase the fees charged for public records , including police videos.
The plan would have seen fees for police bodycam or dashcam footage increased up to $150.
The fee would cover the labor of editing redacted content from such videos.
During Monday night’s meeting, the Common Council discussed lowering the figure.
It didn’t matter much, though.
Once again , the council voted to table the measure.
When it does get into a final form and is up for a vote, WNDU 16 News Now will be on the fourth floor of the County-City Building for the vote.
