FARMINGTON HILLS — Streaks might end, but the message doesn’t change.

While the Warren De La Salle Pilots were home for Thanksgiving weekend for the first time in half a decade last fall, nothing else is different.

The goal is still going back to the place where the Pilots were becoming regulars, making it to Ford Field for the finals year after year.

“It’s been relatively the same (message). I think there was disappointment at how we played at the end of the season last year, but we played some really good teams. You know, (Birmingham) Groves was good and we ran into a little bit of buzz saw, and I think we just have to make sure we stay focused,” sixth-year head coach Dan Rohn said at last month’s Catholic League media day.
