The former owner of a Harrisburg furniture store was sentenced to prison Monday after entering a plea for the sexual assault of a girl starting when she was 5 years old.

Eddie Ruth, 76, was sentenced to 3.5-7 years behind bars, but may not live to see his release date, given his age, Judge Deborah Curcillo told him at his sentencing hearing as he stood before her in a black and white plaid suit jacket.
