HAMILTON — After falling to the Bozeman Bucks on Aug. 3, the Bitterroot Red Sox have gone on an impressive tear.
The 2-1 loss came in the Montana Class A Legion state championship, a narrowly missed opportunity for the nucleus of Hamilton-based seniors to capture their first championship before departing the high school baseball circuit. The Red Sox were awarded another opportunity at the regional tournament in Burley, Idaho, advancing alongside the Bucks.
Ever since, it's been total domination.
