CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - A man has died after being shot on the city’s West side late Monday evening.

The shooting happened near the corner of W. 65th Street and Lawn Avenue.

This is in the Detroit Shoreway neighborhood.

Cleveland Police said the victim, who was shot in the chest, was transported by private vehicle to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

His name has not been released.
