FAYETTEVILLE -- University of Arkansas defensive back commitment Tay Lockett announced Monday that he will play his senior season at Conway High School after previously playing in California.
Lockett, 6-0 and 175 pounds, played his junior season at San Diego (Calif.) University City, where he recorded 107 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 5 pass breakups, 2 interceptions, 1 recovered fumble and 1 forced fumble. He was named the San Diego Eastern League Defensive Player of the Year.
He is not short on Arkansas ties with his mother originally being from Little Rock and numerous family members living in the Natural State.
