The Spanish men’s national team has added Isaac Nogués to its EuroBasket training camp.
The 2023 U19 World Cup champion and Catalan guard joined the squad on Tuesday, completing the group of players preparing for back-to-back friendlies against France on August 14 in Badalona and August 16 in Paris.
Nogués, who also featured for Spain B at the recent City of Málaga Tournament, had already helped reinforce the senior team’s early training sessions. His call-up follows injury setbacks to Alberto Díaz and Eli John Ndiaye.
The former Joventut player spent last season in the NBA G League with the Portland Trail Blazers ‘ affiliate, Rip City Remix. He entered the 2025 NBA Draft but ultimately went undrafted.
Sergio Scariolo has previously brought in Guillem Ferrando, another one of Spain
