National Parks across the U.S. continue to see a surge in visitors throughout the summer. With staff layoffs, many believe conditions are worsening due to overcrowded parks and insufficient staffing. Examples of rule-breakers are certainly numerous online. We have already seen multiple examples in just recent weeks, including visitors drinking thermal water .

Unfortunately, Kings Canyon National Park hasn't avoided awful decisions by visitors either. The park is known for black bears. However, they also have a ban on bear spray , making interactions that much more dangerous. Visitors didn't get this memo most recently.
