A Battle Ground electrical transformer manufacturer is proposing to develop 60 acres just north of Battle Ground Village into a mixed-use campus featuring commercial, industrial and office spaces, as well as a conference center and a chapel facility.
Max Booth, community engagement and development manager for Maddox Industrial Transformer , outlined the project and requested a developer’s agreement during an Aug. 4 Battle Ground City Council study session.
“The reason we care about Battle Ground and seek to reinvest in Battle Ground is that this is where we all live, where we all work, where we’re raising our families,” Booth said. “Our goal here is to steward Battle Ground’s growth and help retain its character and small-town charm.”
