Gladiators star Steel broke down in tears on ITV's Loose Women as he revealed his baby son died in his arms . The Leicestershire athlete also opened up about the profound loss he and his wife are going through since the tragedy happened.

Steel, aka Zack George, was overcome with emotion during his appearance on Tuesday's edition of Loose Women (August 12). He was appearing on the show alongside his wife Samantha to raise awareness about the heartbreak of losing a baby, reports the Express .

Zack, from Sileby, had previously revealed he and Samantha had lost their son Leo just 13 days after he was prematurely born earlier this year. A medical procedure is believed to have played a part in little Leo's death .
