A woman was found dead on her front porch after a series of explosions appear to have sparked a house fire in Deerfield, New Hampshire, on Monday night.

Just before 9 p.m., Deerfield firefighters responded to a home at 201 Nottingham Road for a report of a residential fire. A neighbor said they heard explosions and then saw intense flames coming from the home.

First-arriving firefighters reported heavy flames coming from the left and rear of the home, and they began working to extinguish the blaze. They also received information that a woman lived in the home but were unable to locate her.
