According to Fortune , HBO’s parent company, Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) will no longer turn a blind eye when HBO Max users share their account with those who do not live with them. Starting next month, HBO Max account holders can expect to see a $7.99 charge per month if they are caught are doing this.

This fee isn’t new, but hasn’t been strongly enforced in the past. According to the outlet, WBD streaming chief JB Perrette is ready to take action in September.
