Police officers were called to two Cambridgeshire locations after reports of a car crashing into a parked vehicle and road signs during the early hours of Monday morning (August 11).

A man has since been charged with drink driving and failing to stop after a collision. Nobody was injured after the damage in Doddington and Chatteris , according to Cambridgeshire Police .

The force has confirmed that Nathan Wright, a 31-year-old man from Quarry Lane in Swaffham Bulbeck, has been charged with drink driving and failing to stop after a collision.

He was due to attend Cambridge Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (August 12). Nathan Wright's case has been adjourned to September 12 at the same court.
