Besiktas president Serdal Adali has revealed the club are in talks with Rangers over a deal to bring back Ridvan Yilmaz.
The Turkish defender appears to be surplus to requirements under Russell Martin having failed to make a matchday squad under the new boss - and being completely left out of the squad list for Champions League qualifiers.
The 24-year-old arrived at Ibrox in 2022 in a £5million deal but has failed to hold down a regular starting spot in the Scottish Premiership.
Speaking to Turkish media ahead of the Conference League clash with St Patrick's Athletic, Adali said: "We've focused all our efforts on the left wing.
"We've spoken with Ridvan Yılmaz. Nothing has been finalised. We're talking to his agent and his club."
