‘I’m Trying to Hold My Temper’: MSNBC Panelist Seethes Over Trump’s DC Crime Crackdown

Princeton University professor Eddie Glaude admitted he was “trying” to hold his “temper” while covering President Donald Trump’s deployment of the National Guard to Washington, D.C. as part of his crime crackdown.
Glaude joined MSNBC’s Chris Jansing on Monday as part of a panel shortly after Trump’s announcement on tackling crime in D.C., during which the president called D.C. one of the most “dangerous” cities in the world.
Critics have pushed back on Trump’s actions , noting that violent crime has been going down in D.C., according to police statistics. Compared to 2024, violent crime is down 26% this year. The president has insisted, however,
