(NEXSTAR) – Country star Carly Pearce was taken to a hospital last week after suffering a nasty cut caused by a ranch bottle.
The “Truck on Fire” singer detailed her injury in a TikTok video she posted on Aug. 9, the day after a performance in Holmdel, New Jersey. In the video, Pearce said she was having dinner after the show when she attempted to open a glass bottle of ranch dressing and “it snapped off and a piece of glass cut my thumb.”
“At first, my fiddle player and my assistant thought it wasn’t that big of a deal,” she said in the video. “But all of a sudden, I thought that ketchup was running down my hand, and it actually was blood.”
Pearce said there were paramedics at the venue who were able to assess her injury, but they insisted she be transported to a local ER for stitches.
