DALLAS — Olympic gold-medalist and Dallas native Sha'Carri Richardson addressed for the first time her arrest on domestic violence charges after allegedly assaulting fellow Olympian Christian Coleman.

Richardson was arrested July 27 at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport by the Port of Seattle Police Department, WFAA previously reported . Security footage showed Richardson and Coleman getting into a verbal argument before Richardson allegedly pushed and threw a pair of headphones at Coleman, officials said.

Coleman declined to participate in the investigation, WFAA previously reported.
