We are sad to announce the passing of Rick F. De Luca in Courtenay BC, surrounded by his family, at 92 years of age. Rick is survived by his wife Gail, and children Randy (Vickie), Darren (Randi), Deborah and Richard (Nicole), 6 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. Also survived by his brother Bud De Luca and sister Judy Crema, and many nieces and nephews.

Rick was born in Cumberland BC in 1932 before moving to Camp 1 in Beaver Creek at the corner of Somers and Woolsley Road. Rick attended Alberni District High School and 2 years at UBC before meeting his forever wife Gail in 1956. Rick and Gail were engaged on February 14,1959 and married August 8, 1959 at the United Church in Port Alberni.
