RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Richmond Police Department has released a final review breaking down the 2023 Huguenot High School graduation shooting at the Altria Theater.

The review was released following an inquiry from 8News and the Commonwealth's Attorney's announcement that no further criminal charges would be pursued in connection with the incident.

Seven people were shot and many others were injured during the incident, including a 9-year-old girl who was hit by a fleeing driver. Two of those seven shooting victims –18-year-old graduate Shawn Jackson and his stepfather, 36-year-old Smith — died as a result of their injuries.
