The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is hoping to speak with a woman who they say may have information related to the investigation into the Paddy’s Pond wildfire.

RNC Constable James Cadigan says when the fire was reported, officers spoke with numerous people in the area. Now, they are hoping to speak with a woman seen leaving the area just before the fire was reported.

The woman was said to be driving a black SUV, and headed east on the TCH. Anyone with information is asked to contact the RNC directly. Specifically, they are looking for footage from the area of Peacekeeper’s Way and the TCH and Paddy’s Pond, between 10:30 a.m. and noon yesterday.
