Sunday was not a great day for the farm system, but there are some highlights, including a good day at the plate for Kristian Campbell, and the debut of Payton Tolle in Worcester. The latter did not go quite as swimmingly as expected, but there were some things to like. Let’s get right into it.

Much commotion has been made about Payton Tolle in his quick rise through the Red Sox’s minor league system in the last couple of years. That commotion could be due to his hulking 6’6”, 250 pound size, his 98 mile-per-hour fastball, his left-handedness, or any combination of the three. He was also outstanding in Portland.
