The Montana State football program dismissed Bryson Parker, a defensive back who recently transferred from Nevada, for a violation of team rules, MSU sports information announced Monday.
Parker's dismissal came about two weeks after he was arrested and charged for partner or family member assault, according to Bozeman Municipal Court records obtained by 406 MT Sports. Parker pleaded not guilty to the citation, which was a misdemeanor and a first offense.
MSU head coach Brent Vigen addressed Parker's dismissal Tuesday but declined to comment beyond reiterating that Parker violated team rules.
MSU also dismissed running back Unterrio Latin-Henley in April after he was arrested for partner or family member assault.
