Quarterback Joe Milton's 59-snap preseason debut with the Dallas Cowboys was a rollercoaster of sorts against the Los Angeles Chargers , and his coach needs to see more before giving a proper assessment.

"I think our plan all along has been that we need to find out about Joe Milton," Dallas coach Brian Schottenheimer said this week, via the team's official website .
