CLACKAMAS COUNTY, Ore. (KPTV) - One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 in Clackamas County on Saturday morning.
At about 6 a.m., on Aug. 9, emergency crews responded to a crash involving a Chevrolet Avalanche and a Kenworth semi-truck near milepost 282.
Oregon State Police say an investigation showed 28-year-old Ricardo Hernandez, of Keizer, was northbound in the Chevrolet when he left the roadway and hit the back end of the parked semi-truck.
Hernandez died at the crash scene.
The driver and passenger of the semi-truck were not hurt, according to OSP.
OSP says traffic was not impacted during the crash investigation.
No other details were released.
