An Edmonton resident is facing multiple charges after the RCMP recovered several stolen vehicles in Leduc County on July 15.

Riley Terry Garrett, 29, was arrested by Thorsby RCMP on an outstanding warrant after receiving a report of a suspicious male passed out in a vehicle on a rural property.

When police arrived at the property, they located a male inside a pickup truck attached to a flatbed trailer.

The male was reportedly slumped over in the driver’s seat of the vehicle. After confirming his identity, Garret was arrested.

Thorsby RCMP say they located a firearm inside the vehicle on the passenger seat.

Officers also confirmed the trailer was stolen, as well as several other vehicles located on the property and surrounding treeline.
