CHICAGO, Ill. (WTVO) — AbbVie, the maker of Botox, Humira, and Rinvoq, will invest $195 million to expand its manufacturing facility in Illinois.

The company discovers, develops, and commercializes therapies for health issues in areas such as immunology, oncology, neuroscience, eye care, and aesthetics. An offshoot of Abbott Laboratories, it is known for products such as Humira, Rinvoq, and Botox.

Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker and representatives from the company announced the expansion to its North Chicago facility on Tuesday.
